Mahi Benbinen, a significant figure in Moroccan literature, recently captivated audiences at the Kiltiga Fonti literary space in Agadir during a remarkable event hosted in collaboration with the French Institute Agadir.On February 4, Benbinen unveiled his powerful new book, “Tonight Brings Us Together Far Away,” which intricately weaves the poignant tale of a boy witnessing the historical events of the 1971 coup attempt and the struggles of his family during perilous times, including the haunting Tazmamart story.
