On April 29, 2025, the Souss-Massa region took a significant leap forward in advancing **Inclusive Education**, hosting a pivotal forum aimed at integrating **Information and Communication Technologies** within educational frameworks. Organized by the Regional Academy for Education and Training in collaboration with UNICEF, this event spotlighted the vital need for innovative approaches in **disability education**. With an impressive turnout including educational training workshops and expert discussions, this forum not only celebrated achievements but also set the stage for future developments in inclusive practices across the 796 educational institutions accommodating over 5,496 students with disabilities in Souss-Massa.

Advancements in Infrastructure for Inclusive Education

As of 2025, Souss-Massa has made significant strides in building inclusive educational infrastructure. With 796 institutions dedicated to accommodating students with disabilities, the region is championing accessibility in education.

Additionally, 441 educational institutions have received accessibility enhancements, including climate-controlled sanitary facilities, catering to the needs of all students.

Workshops and Training for Inclusive Education Professionals

The second regional forum featured workshops and training sessions focused on inclusive education strategies. These events aim to equip professionals with the necessary skills to support students with disabilities effectively.

Emphasizing ongoing professional development, approximately 2,215 educational staff members have undergone training to ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices within their schools.
